Residents and their relatives have the benefit of its modern care facilities whilst enjoying its peaceful grounds throughout the year. The home provides accommodation for physically frail older people and younger people (aged 25 to 65) with physical disabilities. In addition we offer a specialist unit to care for older people with dementia type illnesses. Rodwell Farm also provides day care for clients who return to their own homes at night.
Rodwell Farm is one of a number of nursing homes owned by a husband and wife team, Ernie & Dr Karen Graham. The home provides professional care and support in a friendly and homely environment. Each resident’s care is planned individually and staff respect personal rights and privacy and will respond to individual needs. The home has a designated Activities Organiser who is supported by several activities assistants and a Christian Chaplain. Together they offer a tailored programme of stimulation for each resident taking into account their particular ability levels and needs.
We are required by Regulation to provide a Statement of Purpose.
This will tell you all about the home, our aims and objectives together with philosophy of care. It includes a description of the services and facilities on offer at the home.
