All the staff that work in the home are direct-employees

Being direct-employees means continuity of care and facilitates a "family" atmosphere. The home has a comprehensive training programme and a high proportion of its staff have achieved NVQ qualifications.

Karen Raggett Registered Manager Karen is a Registered Nurse and holds the Registered Manager’s Award (RMA.) Training is a major professional interest for herself and her team and she also holds the Assessor’s Award (A1) and Delivering Learning (City & Guilds 7304) She is currently working towards a Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care.

Joanne Gurney Administrator Joanne has had many years experience in office management. She much enjoys her role looking after the financial administration at Rodwell Farm.

Gail Duffell Cook Gail has been at Rodwell Farm since 1999. Her homely and appetizing meals are very much appreciated by the residents. Menus are devised in conjunction with the residents. Special diets such as for diabetics can be catered for.

Sharon Barratt Kitchen Assistant Sharon has been at the home since 2003.  She worked as a carer gaining her NVQ level 2.  She is now working as kitchen assistant to fit in with her family life.

Lali Nqentsu Care Assistant Lali arrived from South Africa four years ago when she joined the team at Rodwell Farm. She has gained her NVQ level 2 and is now working towards NVQ level 3.

Sue Rankin Senior Care Assistant Sue has been at Rodwell Farm for twelve years. She has achieved her NVQ levels 2 and 3 and is now working towards level 4NVQ. In addition Sue has obtained the Assessors Award (A1)

Harvey Russell Maintenance Harvey looks after the building at Rodwell Farm. From general maintenance, doing the decorating or putting up pictures Harvey is always in demand.
